The Regular Post Meetings are scheduled for the 4th Friday of the Month, Except for December.  (There is no Regular Meeting in December)

The meeting starts at 20:00 (8 PM), and runs approximately 1 hour.

The post bar is closed for business during the meeting.

Refreshments are served after the meeting.

You are encouraged to attend the regular meetings.  New ideas, and your participation in legion events is welcome, and needed.   Whether it is placing flags at the local cemetery, or flipping pancakes at the post pancake breakfast, help is always needed.   

If you know of someone who qualifies as a member, that person, if possible (Not Mandatory), should attend the monthly meeting. A membership application is available for download.  A copy of the prospective members DD-214 (Discharge Papers), or a military id card if on active duty, is required.  The copy can be made at the post, or on your own.

If you need a sponsor, as a new member, simply request of a member you know to sponsor you.  If you do not know of a member, please email the Commander to be your sponsor using
" adjutant @ post12nj.org ".
A formality that helps the new member, and who acts as a liaison, between the new member and Post 12.  The Post dues are waived for new members for the first year.  Your membership at Post 12, allows entry access to every American Legion Post, both here in the USA, as well as over seas.  Prospective members with mobility considerations, should contact the post for other arrangements, on becoming a member.
